The Rocket RC Thunder 540 Sensored Brushless Motor is designed for serious 1/10 scale RC drift and on-road racing applications. Engineered with advanced materials and precision construction, this motor delivers smooth throttle response, high efficiency, and consistent power across the entire RPM range. Available in both 10.5T and 13.5T options, it is ideal for competitive drifting and touring setups.
The Thunder 540 features an innovative aerodynamic internal structure that enhances airflow and cooling, allowing the motor to operate efficiently even at high turbo RPM. The one-piece 7075 aluminum alloy front housing is lightweight, strong, and optimized for superior heat dissipation. An oversized front bearing improves load capacity, reduces resistance, and ensures smooth, durable operation.
Equipped with three built-in Hall sensors and dual sensor ports, this sensored motor supports flexible wiring layouts for various chassis configurations. The motor comes pre-welded with quick-disconnect plug-in connectors, making installation, removal, and replacement fast and convenient. Its removable and reassemblable design also allows easy cleaning and maintenance for racers.
Internally, the motor uses a high-efficiency stator constructed from 0.2mm silicon steel sheets, achieving an impressive 94 percent efficiency conversion rate. A 2-pole ultra-smooth rotor is designed to withstand high temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius, delivering stable performance at high speeds. High-temperature enameled wire imported from the USA ensures durability and reliability. The motor is RoHS certified for safe use.
This motor is suitable for 1/10 scale RC drift cars, touring cars, and on-road racing vehicles using 2S or 3S LiPo batteries.
